BLACK TAG BELT

Meaning of Black Belt. 

Black is opposite of white, signifying maturity and proficiency in Tae Kwon-Do Also indicates the wearers imperviousness to darkness and fear.

Meaning of Pattern Choong Moo 30 Movements. 

Choong Moo was the name given to the Yi Dynasty Admiral Yi Sun-Sin. In AD 1592, he was reputed to have invented the world’s first armoured battleship (Kobukson), which is said to be the precursor of today’s submarine. The reason the pattern ends with a left hand attack is to symbolize his regrettable death, having no chance to show his unrestrained potentiality checked by the forced reservation of his loyalty to the king.

So you will need to look, read and cover all of your theory work from the past grading’s. 

 

Grading Examiner. 

The Grading Examiner will tell the student more of what is expected of them for their black belt grading so they can start to work and develop for grading.
